Tinna just gave birth to six healthy puppies; one yellow and one black male; two yellow and two black bitches. The first four puppies were born yesterday and the final two puppies were recovered via C-section this afternoon. Bitch and puppies are doing well although Tinna is pretty beat up after the intense labour!

In February we bred Chuna and Icelandic Show Champion (ISSHCH) Leiru Röskur for yellow and black puppies. This will be our second litter so we are all very excited! 

Röskur is the top 2 show dog in 2011 and one of the most awarded show dog of our times with 11 championship qualities (CK), 3 national championship points (CAC), 1 international championship points (CACIB) and 1 reserve international championship points (res-CACIB). He has been awarded Best of Breed (BOB) twice and Best of Opposite Sex (BOS) three times. A puppy from his previous litter was recently the third best puppy of show in Sweden.

Blissful Birta and Sunny Salka entered the International Dog Show today in 6-9 Month Puppy Class. Both were awarded Honour Prize and very positive feedbacks from Finnish judge Saija Juutilainen. Salka became BOS (best of show) leaving the second place to her sister.

Salka went on to the finals and was elected the third best puppy of the show, across all breeds! We congratulate her owner Thordis Skuladottir and her family on this outstanding result!

Four of the puppies from our first litter gathered today in Urridaholt and had a splendid day in the mud while their proud owners exchanged advice and opinions. Visit our facebook page for more photos.  

At the International Dog Show today Birta was voted best bitch in 4-6 month Puppy Class and was awarded Honour Prize. The verdict from Norwegian judge Per Iversen was very promising. Chuna entered Open Class and received Very Good with some remarks on the weight she gained while carrying!

We have secured all the puppies good future homes and we look forward to watch them mature and integrate with their new families. Blissful Birta is our keeper girl from this litter. We are planning for a puppy gathering in the autumn where the puppies can play while their owners share experiences.  

Chuna gave birth to 8 puppies today. One yellow and two black males and four yellow and one black bitch. The sire is Ljossins Korri who has exhibited outstanding results in the show ring. This is Chuna's first litter and marks the start of St. Hunderups kennel.

The puppies are ready to move out in April and will be micro-chipped, vaccinated, wormed and registered with the Icelandic Kennel Club.
